Loki cringes. “Fine.” He whispers. “I’m just trying to look after this family, but if you won’t even listen to me then have it your way.”
"I tried." Loki whispers. "But I’m not the only one at fault." He sighs before going back to Asgard. He picked up his phone and sent you a quick text. "We can’t do this to the kids, not again."
Loki hesitates. “Please don’t turn your back on either of us Princess. I’ll be the first to admit that I fucked up, but I wasn’t the only one” He says before leaving
"I deeply regret what I did to her. I never meant to be the husband that hurts his wife, but I’m sick of her walking all over me. Up until now everytime she said something or did something that should have upset or offended me, she’d end up crying about it and I’d hug her and coddle her and fix it, without any regard for my feelings, and then the moment I stop running from them and try to be my own person, she turns selfish and tells me I’m the worst thing that’s ever happened to her, that I ruined her life, that I’ve disgraced my mother." He chokes up a bit and shakes his head. "We were both horrible to each other."
"She hit first." Loki replies. "But the full story starts a few days ago. I asked her about her feelings for my alter ego. I was just trying to understand the situation, and quite frankly, when she asked for him after the fiasco with the dark elves, it made me feel unappreciated by her. I tried to open up to her, to show her my feelings since I spend so much time burying mine to take care of hers. She supported me by telling me that my feelings were usually wrong. Everything spiraled from there."
Loki gulps. “Will you at least listen to my side of the story?” He asks quietly
Loki settles the kids in and then goes back. He knew she’d call you, but he hoped she’d stay fair and listen to his side regardless.
